it's happening
the music i loved and grew up with is now really
"music from the 90's". how do I
know?
well, on my way to a toad the wet sprocket concert (clue 1) populated by all 30 somethings (clue 2), the current rock radio station was having a 90's flashback weekend (clue 3) which was playing all the songs I knew and loved (clue 4). Then today, I was watching tv and saw an ad for a 32 song compilation of Buzz Ballads - featuring songs I knew and loved such as Live - lightning crashes, Oasis - Champagne Supernova, Tonic - If you could Only See, Bush-Glycerine, Hole - Doll Parts, and so on (clue 5).
<sigh>. I'm getting older. The world is changing. What was once new is now old.
